The project is for a single-storey extension to a semi-detached house located on the periphery of Lurgan. The project involved a complete overhaul of the rooms at the rear of the existing home at ground floor level. The extra space created by the addition will be a new light-filled kitchen, opening out to the south-facing private patio garden.
 
The former kitchen will be upgraded to form a utility and downstairs toilet room. While being a small factor of the brief, these extra servant spaces will significantly improve the home.
 
Externally, the new ground floor extension will be formed with bricks specified from heritage ranges to reflect the character of the home. Exposed walls in the existing provide a reference and tone which the new extension has evolved from.
