A fresh approach for a high street mainstay through look and feel evolution.
Synopsis
REQA work consistently with Boots throughout Ireland, acting as design architects from inception to construction. So we were excited to get involved in the Dawson Street project in the presentation of a new store format. The context offers touchpoints to retail (Grafton St) and office/commercial hubs, an ideal testing ground for a trial 'convenience' retail format.
New ideas and approaches to design look and feel were explored. Opportunities to depart from the standard specifications provided grounds to build on a new direction of Boots' brand principles. For example, open ceilings with track LED lighting feature, a first for the Ireland Estate. Using large and vibrant signage, playful store navigation sets a tone and achieves a premium feel.
